To us, this restaurant is the very best in Toledo for Mexican food. They have other locations but the Broadway location is the best. Our waiter was outstanding with his knowledge of the dishes and ability to make suggestions to our taste. Our meals came out piping hot and in a timely manner. The waiter was very attentive, polite and courteous. For us, the drive is well worth it for such an enjoyable experience.

Tucked in the back of a Mexican grocery, San Marcos is like a hidden cove on a river that surprises you in the best possible way. We stopped in for lunch, and were treated to excellent authentic food in a great atmosphere. Started with the house-made guacamole, with warm chips and a terrific salsa. The dishes come with notes that say how many meats they come with, and the meats are listed separately. Great selection, too! I got the burrito with barbacoa (beef cheek). Very tasty, but even the lunch portion was huge! The decor is amazing, and the service was excellent. A little loud, but raucous in a good, family way. Yeah, stop in and treat yourself to good Mexican food!

The best tacos in Toledo! I had beef tongue, beef intestines and pork skin. The pork skin was to die for! It was so tender & flavorful. Beef tongue was the same, tender and flavorful. The intestines had a touch of crunch, but not too deep dried. Sooooo good!

The food was good. Swift service, authentic. Tasty corn taco shells (aka torillas, but i always think flour when someone says tortilla...). Fresh ingredients. Good and good. The chips were meh, glad they were free.
The atmosphere was festive and fun. And there was a cook, a joyous loud sing songy cook, who made my experience 5 star worthy. The food was a solid Mexican restaurant 4 star. But this guy...he cheered up my whole day. And it was $9 with tip.
Best 10 bucks I've spent in a long time. Good food, good mood. -

Literally have an amazing experience everytime I go here. Food is great. It can get a bit noisy but it's a fun atmosphere. Great prices and every server has a smile on their face. Vegan and vegetarian options here. Very strong margaritas.
